      Originally intended as a quick means of depicting for settlers the Crown lands available for pre-emption in north-central B.C., early sheets were re-drawn annually, providing only basic planimetric information along with boundaries & numbers of surveyed lots, land recording districts, government reserves, & lands open for preemption.
      Numbering & format standardized by 1915.

      Shows land recording divisions, land recording offices, surveyed lands, lands available for purchase or pre-emption, land district boundaries, cities, towns, schools, telegraph/telephone lines, trails, etc..
      Sheets published in 1912 & 1913 were numbered consecutively, 1 to 8; beginning in 1914, sheets were numbered 3A to 3Q.
