  Attached text (22.2 x 59.4 cm.) by Abe Kinin, dated Tenpō 9 (1838), says the map was "based on a French chart of 1835."
  A imitation of SHINSEI YOCHI ZENZU : (Newly made map of the earth) by Metsukuri Shōgo published in l844.
  The map includes western and eastern hemispheres (27.8 cm. each), with a coloured legend and four small hemispheres (5.6 cm. each) all within a decorative border (broken at the top); with a panel of text (22.2 x 59.4 cm.) above the map; total size of sheet 65.8 x 65 cm.
