Description:106 leaves, that is, 216 pages (1 column, 16 lines), bound : vellum, colour illustrations ; 18 cm

Notes:Manuscript book of hours for the use of Rouen (including Calendar, Hours of the Virgin, Office of the Dead, and other prayers); written and illuminated in Rouen, France, approximately 1430-1440.
Decoration: 4 large and 2 full-page miniatures with full borders, small illuminated initials and line-fillers.
Artist: in the style of the Master of Sir John Fastolf, active in Rouen from approximately 1420 to 1449.
Binding: nineteenth century blind-stamped brown leather binding, with spine repaired and metal fittings added.
Text and illumination on both sides of leaves. Verso of last leaf blank. Leaves numbered in pencil by a previous owner, but two leaves missed, thus pencilled leaf numbering ends at 106 instead of 108.
