      A continuous strip of paper folded accordion-style to form a book of 28 leaves. Each leaf bears a hand-coloured engraving of an "inhabitant" of the world dressed in national costume. The engraved captions are in English (with spelling errors) and German. Two blank preliminary leaves pasted at beginning where the booklet attaches to the inside of the box lid, remnant of final leaf attached to marbled paper at the end. In marble paper-covered box with engraved label pasted on the lid. Includes a terrestrial miniature globe, made up of twelve engraved paper gores applied to a plaster sphere, 4.5 cm in diameter.
