• Summary:Der berühmte Künstler Gustav Klimt wird hier gemeinsam mit dem Architekten und Gestalter Josef Hoffmann präsentiert. Die intensive Zusammenarbeit der beiden begann mit der Gründung der Wiener Secession 1897 und setzte bis zum Tod von Gustav Klimt neue Massstäbe in Europa. Die Beethovenausstellung (1902) in der Wiener Secession sowie das Gesamtkunstwerk Palais Stoclet in Brüssel bilden Höhepunkte dieser Zusammenarbeit. Zahlreiche Werke, in denen sich Hoffmanns charakteristische Handschrift deutlich widerspiegeln, belegen die wechselseitigen Einflüsse dieser Pioniere der österreichischen Moderne, die dieser umfassende Überblick auch in Bezug zur Wiener Werkstätte untersucht.0Exhibition: Unteres Belvedere, Wien (25.10.2011-4.3.2012).
